DESIGN - SENATE HOUSE - BRIEF
We have been tasked to design a small structure that will be attached to the Senate House in London.
OBJECTIVES:
Function of the new module should be programed as multifunctional to accommodate for any future technological changes, but
Should encompass function of reading space, writing space, web access space as a minimum.
To be added to the external building envelope, with condition it does not rest on the ground and is located facing the courtyard.
PROJECT CONSTRAINTS
New module space floor area cannot exceed 12m2 and total area of 33m3.
New module should be constructed off site for quick and easy installment on site.
The projected module should allow for it to be installed with a single lorry crane.

Section(s) 1:100/1:50 to connection solutions to existing building
Details 1:20 to connection between existing and new module.

Exploded axonometric of new module envelope
Concept + proposition communication
Existing building analysis
Precedent study
Models + experimentation [photographed / presented in portfolio]
