Recently we've been learning about Classical Architecture; Greek and Roman and the orders within them.

To some up a few points, the first being that the Romans copied the Greeks!

The Romans were very clever and even though they copied the essentials of Greek architecture they improved it dramatically via the technology and the materials used. They are believed to be the inventors of bricks and cement. A great example would be the Pantheon. If you are interested I have provided a link below of a great tour of the Pantheon that explains its history and the build itself.
