HISTORY & MATERIALS - APP PROJECT

As one of the submissions for this module we were tasked to produce a short report on the buildings in the Market Square of Northampton. This was to be added to the collection for a new app that has been created, 'Follow Northampton' which will allow you to (whilst you are touring northampton) find out about the history of each building which I think is a great opportunity to be involved in.

As a class we had to select up to a maximum of three buildings (depending on the size). I had chosen to do 15, 17 & 18 Market Square. The report was to include 300-400 words per building accompanied with CAD drawings, applicable pictures and referencing.

It was an intriguing project although I did struggle with finding detailed history for the buildings. However what I did manage to find was quite significant which most certainly added to the history of the market square.
