EXTRAS - MILAN EXPO 2015

Before the summer holidays me and several others planned a trip to Expo 2015 in Milan. We set off on Monday 28th Sept and returned on Friday 02nd Oct. As a group we had decided to spend the first day settling in and exploring Duomo followed by an ambitious two days of exploring the Expo.

After the mammoth task of all the walking involved we arranged to have the next day off to explore Milan. This led us to Cairoli where we visited the Sforza Castle followed by a segway tour of The Arch of Peace.

Later in the evening we dined in a lovely restaurant adjacent to the cathedral in Duomo. If that wasn't enough ... We topped it off by ending the night with a spot of bowling, arcade fun and some light drinking! ...

... Then it was home time ... Nothing like a lovely shower of rain and a flight delay!
